The Wailers recently called on Formula 1  fans at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to help World Food Programme feed millions of hungry school children around the world.

“A cup of nutritious porridge can take a child a long way,” said Wailers’ Elan Atlas at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as the Wailers took part in an awareness-raising event for WFP’s ‘Fill the Cup’ campaign to provide food to children in schools all over the developing world.

“It takes only a few cents or dirhams (UAE currency) to fill this cup but this can take a child a long way,” the Wailers said as they stood alongside Toyota team drivers Jarno Trulli and Kamui Kobayashi at the event.

“Let us not forget that one billion people around he world will sleep hungry tonight,” Elan later told the crowds that lined up for the Wailers’ evening concert in the Corniche area of Abu Dhabi.
