In addition to continuing to create and jam with The Wailers, Fams has also taken time to play an integral part in the creation of Robert Marcey‘s fantastic debut album, Wailin for Justice. Fams lent his producing and bass skills to the album, as well as acted as a prominent mentor and inspiration for the songwriting by Marcey, who penned the entire album.

The title track off the album, Wailin for Justice is an incredible collaboration of musicianship and passion between Robert Marcey and Fams. CLICK HERE to get a free listen to this track in its entirety.

Legendary reggae group The Wailers are big supporters of The World Food Programme’s Walk the World,  which takes place worldwide on June 6th. This year The Wailers and special guest Duane Stephenson have written a song for the event to raise awareness about the global fight against child hunger. The song is called “A Step for Mankind” and will also be featured on Oniric Records’ “Solutions for Dreamers: Season 3” compilation album which benefits the World Food Programme. Stay tuned for information regarding the release of this album. The Wailers try to do their part to create a better tomorrow for the people of the world and we encourage you to do the same.

Duane Stephenson, Jamaican recording artist and songwriter will be joining The Wailers on their upcoming shows with Michael Franti as a special guest. Duane wrote A Step for Mankind to be released on Solutions for Dreamers : Season 3 which benefits the United Nations World Food Programme and supports the Wailers long standing commitment to Africa and fighting hunger worldwide. Duane is currently writing music for The Wailers upcoming album, collaborating and performing with The Wailers on select concerts in the future, stay tuned for future announcements.
