Monday, August 11th the Wailers will be lending their infamous reggae sound to help feed hungry children around the world. Proceeds from this special performance will benefit Friends of the World Food Program and will directly support the United Nations World Food Program’s global hunger relief initiatives. The UN World Food Program is the largest humanitarian organization in the world, reaching an average of 88 million people in 80 of the world’s poorest countries each year with a wide range of food assistance programs. Soaring food and fuel prices have created a global food crisis, but you can join the Wailers and WFP in the fight against hunger: One ticket feeds one child in a WFP-assisted school for one year. One ticket, one child, one year, one love.
